InnovaCoat GOLD products are "conjugation friendly" gold nanoparticles with a proprietary surface coating. The coating greatly enhances colloidal stability and permits easy covalent attachment of a variety of molecules, including antibodies, analytes and other biomolecules to 40nm or 80nm gold nano-particles. For the covalent attachment of molecules via a sulfhydryl functional group (ie thiols), use the InnovaCoat GOLD Maleimide kits is recommended. |

The Lightning-Link Rapid Antibody and Protein Labelling System allows conjugation reactions to be set up in seconds, and the labelled antibody used within minutes (less than 20 minutes).
